Fall Sewing Weekend Retreat - October 2026

Escape to Makers Hideaway for a weekend away of relaxing, sewing, and spending time with fellow sewists! Enjoy 2-1/2 days of free time working on any project you'd like. Finally tackle that sewing wishlist, get a jump on your seasonal sewing, or get help planning your future projects. And the best part? We'll take care of all the cooking and cleaning so you can enjoy a weekend of sewing and making new friends!

As a bonus, get to see all of our new fall fabrics in person! Touch and feel samples of the latest collection, and check out how you might pair with our favorite fall sewing patterns. The Style Maker Fabrics team will be available throughout the weekend to assist in any way they can! The shop will also be available if you need any extra fabric, patterns, or supplies, including all the new seasonal fabrics.

This is an all-inclusive sewing weekend escape! It includes shared luxury lodging, food, drinks, and snacks, and instruction from our sewing experts. Bring yourself, your sewing machine (if possible), and the projects you want to work on, and enjoy a weekend of sewing, relaxation, and time with like-minded sewists!

Retreat Dates:

Thursday, October 8th thru Sunday, October 11th, 2026

Location: Makers Hideaway retreat center, Stanwood, Washington

• Roughly one hour North of Seattle.
• Fifteen minutes from Smokey Point (I-5 exit 206)
• Convenient from Stanwood or Everett train stations or Everett's Paine Field Airport (PAE). There is also a local shuttle from SeaTac Airport (SEA) if needed.

Have any dietary restrictions? Want to room with a friend? Need transportation from a local train station or airport? We'll do our best to help meet all of your needs. We'll be in contact with each attendee in the weeks leading up to the event to make sure everything is in place for a worry-free weekend!

Sale Tax: As of October 2025, we are now required to collect WA state sales tax on all retreats. This 9.1% is now included in the registration fee ($695 + $63.25).

Cancellation Policy: For cancellations made on or before 9/1/26, there is a $50 processing fee. For cancellations made after 9/1/26, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.
