We shop the garment districts of New York and Los Angeles and select on-trend fabrics from top design houses and manufacturers. Many of our fabrics are from sample rooms or are manufacturer's overruns and end of production leftovers. We pride ourselves in selecting the highest quality fabrics. We consider how each fabric will ideally be used, how easy it is to work with as well as its performance. We give these fabrics a new life after they have run their course with the fashion manufactures. In a way we recycle these fabrics, give them a new identity and find them a new home.
Since many of these fabrics have moved around quite a bit since they were produced, most of their information has been lost- like content and width. We use our years of experience working with fabrics to do our best to reconstruct this information. Please use this information as a guideline, we cannot guarantee its accuracy.
If you plan on washing your finished garment, we recommend prewashing your fabric in the same manner that you plan on washing the finished garment. This will help eliminate some of the shrinkage and provide you with a better fitting garment.
We encourage you to order samples of the fabrics you are considering, especially if it is for a fabric type that you are not as familiar with. We work very hard to make the fabric images representative of each fabric’s color and drape. Despite our best efforts we cannot guarantee an exact match due to variations in technology and differences in how these colors and images translate across different devices.
We understand that fabric is an investment and the best way to make a fully informed decision is to see and feel it for yourself. Each swatch is priced based on the yardage price of the fabric and typically measures 6” x 6”. On some border prints or other unique pieces the swatch may vary a little bit, but will give you an idea of the color and style of that particular piece.
Shipping is included in the price of all swatches. Each will come individually labeled with the pertinent information and will ship via USPS First Class Mail or be included with the balance of your order.
Ordering a swatch does not guarantee that the swatched fabric will be in stock when you are ready to place your order. Please contact us if this is a concern or if you want to double check the amount available before ordering.
Style Maker Fabrics accepts all major credit cards- Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
All orders are processed and shipped from Arlington, Washington; therefore sales tax will be added to all orders shipped within the state of Washington. There is no tax added to orders shipped outside of Washington State.
Orders will typically ship within 24 business hours of the order being placed. If for some reason this is delayed or there is a question about your order, we will contact you via email or phone. Orders ship out Monday through Friday and should arrive 3 to 7 days from the ship date. You will be emailed with tracking information for your order upon shipment.
Flat Rate Shipping: All orders shipped with in the United States will be charged a flat shipping rate of $8.95 for ground shipping via the USPS or UPS.
International orders are charged a flat rate estimate price. You may be contacted regarding additional shipping charges once we have your order packed and ready to ship. Style Maker Fabrics is not responsible for any additional Duty fees that may be incurred in the shipment of your order.
Need your order faster? Please contact us via email or add a note to your order if you would like to receive your order faster than the typical delivery time of 3 to 7 days. We will be able to give you a better estimate of delivery and if there are any additional shipping charges.
All packages include basic shipping insurance for a value of $50. If you would like additional insurance added to your order, please let us know. Additional charges apply. Style Maker Fabrics is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged orders after shipment. We will however do our best to help you resolve any issues.
We want our customers to be completely satisfied with their orders. If there is an issue with an item or it doesn't meet your expectations, please contact us about returning it. We ask that all returns be made within 30 days of your original order. Returns will be processed once they are received and refunds will be made in the original form of payment, less shipping charges.
We do not accept returns on any cut trim and items must be in resalable condition. We also ask that any returned fabric item measure at least 1 yard and be unwashed, uncut and in its original condition.
In the unlikely event that there is a flaw or discrepancy in the item that was ordered, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our very best to rectify the situation.
