Are you tired of ill-fitting bras? Ready to check another challenge off your sewing bucket list? Join us for our first bra-making camp weekend with Isabella (@whatbellamade)!
Treat yourself to a weekend away this Mother's Day and escape to Makers Hideaway. Bring your best friend or daughter for a girls' trip, or enjoy some much-needed time alone with other like-minded sewists. We'll start the weekend getting settled and learning more about each other over a delicious dinner. Then, enjoy the rest of the evening relaxing with facial masks, a fun chick-flick, and snacks!
Get up Friday morning to a continental breakfast and get ready to start your bra-making journey. Over the next two and a half days, Isabella will walk you through the ins and outs of bra construction. You learn how to fit and sew a bra for your body and go home with knowledge and techniques you can apply to other bra styles and patterns.
For this retreat, you will make the Harriet Bra from Cloth Habit or Willowdale Bra from Cashmerette. Isabella will come with sample cup sizes to help you find the right one. You will then muslin/toile the bra strap and have the option to get a 1:1 bra fitting with Isabella to determine any pattern adjustments.
This is an all-inclusive sewing weekend escape!& It includes shared luxury lodging, food + drinks + snacks, and instruction from bra-making expert Isabella. Bring yourself and your sewing machine (if possible), and let us take care of all the cooking and cleaning so you can enjoy a weekend of sewing, relaxation, and time with other sewists!
